It Was Tuesday

GENERAL RULES

– $5 house fee. $5 tournament fee
– Sign ups open at 6PM. Tournament starts at 7PM
– Casual play, if/when it is available, is for It Was Tuesday participants only
– Casual play is not guaranteed (but we’ll try)
– Tournament director’s word is law
– Phoenix Games’ staff word is double law

STREET FIGHTER V RULES

– PlayStation 4 version
– Double elimination bracket (Challonge)
– Matches are best 2 out of 3 games
– Grand finals is best 3 out of 5 games
– Games are set to default (Versus mode, 99 seconds, 2/3 rounds, No Handicap)
– Winner keeps character, loser may choose to swap characters
– Any player using random character select must choose random select again if they win a game in their match
– If one of the DLC characters is missing from a machine, a player may request switching to another station that does have said character. That player must choose said DLC character for that game.
– Stage is random select
– Coaching is allowed between games, but not during a match
– Pausing the game at any time during a match can result in a forfeit

EQUIPMENT RULES

– You’re responsible for your own equipment
– Legacy controller mode is banned
– All wireless controllers, except the DualShock4 controller, are banned
– DualShock4 players MUST unpair their controller after their match or risk DQ
– Programmable input entry, rapid fire, or other hardware assisted mechanisms are banned
– All macros available via the in-game controller configuration menu are allowed

PRIZES

– If 8 or less players sign up, winner takes all
– If more than 8 players sign up, the pot is split 70(1st), 20(2nd), 10(3rd)
– Cash will be paid out to winners when the tournament ends

OTHER SUPER OBVIOUS RULES

– No smoking or vaping inside
– No alcohol
– Keep food out of the arcade/store. Back room and back alley are fine
– No fighting or random acts of violence
– Just try to not be a jerk
– Have fun. I know this seems like a lot of “don’t do this” and “don’t do that”, but for real … relax n’ play some Street Fighter!
